I highly recommend Ali and his mentoring services. During his time supporting students at our school, he quickly built strong and positive relationships with the young people he worked with. Although his time with us was relatively short, the impact he made was significant and meaningful. Ali worked with pupils through 1-1 mentoring sessions, playground support, and relationship building within the school community. The 1-1 mentoring sessions with the children were one of the most powerful aspects of the work and pupils quickly opened up, providing huge insight into their lived experiences.

Ali always worked hard to represent the needs of both the teaching staff and learning community whilst giving pupils a space to have their voices heard. His calm and relatable approach helped pupils better understand discipline, behaviour, and positive social interaction.

Although there continued to be behavioural challenges throughout the year, pupils made positive progress and successfully transitioned into mainstream secondary education. Ali definitely made a positive difference to the self-esteem, resilience, and aspirations of the pupils he worked with.
